Joe Hart “Starfish” save comes from opponents father.

In yesterday’s England v Denmark game, England’s Joe Hart made a great save to keep his team in the game at 0-0. The save he made ( pictured ) looked very familiar to his opposite number, Kaspar Schmeichel. Peter’s handball background, where you have to make yourself as big as possible to stop the ball was the secret to many of his great saves, which made him arguably the best goalkeeper of his time. For those of you too young to remember the great man, see this youtube video –
